You're a Mammal, Mammals Make Milk

Mammal - any of a class (Mammalia) of warm-blooded higher vertebrates (such as placentals, marsupials, or monotremes) that nourish their young with milk secreted by mammary glands, have the skin usually more or less covered with hair, and include humans (definition courtesy of https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/mammal).

You have mammary glands that make milk. The first time most think about their mammal milk makin' is with the conception of their first child. Will they or will they not breastfeed? Will they make enough milk? After all, for a very long time, we have purchased milk from the store in a half gallon or gallon jug. It's hard to visualize your milk making capacity when you have been buying milk. It's also likely you can easily recall formula marketing or someone preparing formula for an infant. Did you have that same recall for a baby being put to the breast? My guess is formula marketing is easiest to recall thanks to the dedicated marketing department sharing this information with you.

If you *want* to breastfeed and/or provide breastmilk to your baby - YOU are the perfect person to do it. After all, you are a mammal!
